Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Finance AI Clash Ltd. ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on https://financeaiclash.life. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy. By clicking "Accept all" or saving customised preferences in our cookie banner, you consent to non-essential cookies as described below.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences, maintain security, and — with consent — understand how visitors use pages. Similar technologies include local storage entries and session identifiers with comparable functions.
2. How we use cookies
We group cookies into three categories. Only strictly necessary cookies run before you choose an option in the banner. Functional and analytics cookies are blocked until you accept them individually or via "Accept all". Your choice is stored for up to six months, after which the banner reappears so you can review preferences.
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for core website operation and cannot be switched off through our banner. They include consent storage (fac_cookie_consent) recording your Accept, Reject, or Customise choice, and basic session integrity flags. Without them, the cookie banner would prompt on every page load and form security features may degrade.
Typical retention: up to 180 days for consent records; session cookies expire when you close the browser.
Functional preferences
Functional cookies remember optional interface choices — for example collapsed FAQ states or dismissed informational notices — to reduce repetition on return visits. They do not track you across unrelated websites.
Typical retention: up to 90 days unless cleared earlier by you.
Analytics
Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate traffic patterns — pages viewed, referral sources, device types — so we can improve programme pages and fix broken links. We configure analytics to avoid collecting unnecessary personal identifiers where vendor settings allow. Analytics runs only after consent.
Typical retention: vendor-dependent, generally 14–26 months for aggregated metrics; raw IP addresses may be truncated.
3. Vendor list
As of 17 July 2026, subprocessors that may set cookies after consent include:
- Self-hosted / first-party: consent and preference storage on financeaiclash.life.
- Privacy-friendly analytics (if enabled): configured to minimise cross-site tracking; provider name disclosed in enrolment contracts upon activation.
- Embedded video hosts (course pages only): may set cookies when you play embedded content inside the learning portal — not on public marketing pages unless explicitly embedded.
We review vendors periodically and update this list when subprocessors change. Request the current detailed vendor register at [email protected].
4. Managing and withdrawing consent
You can change preferences at any time by:
- Clearing site data for financeaiclash.life in your browser settings, which resets the banner on your next visit.
- Using browser controls to block third-party or all cookies — note that strictly necessary cookies may still be required for basic functions.
- Emailing [email protected] to request guidance if you enrolled through a corporate portal with overlapping cookies.
Withdrawing analytics consent stops new analytics cookies from being placed; previously collected aggregate data may remain in anonymised reports.
5. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our public marketing site honours the consent choices captured in the banner. Where browsers send Global Privacy Control signals, we treat them as a request to reject non-essential cookies on first visit where technically feasible alongside banner logic.
6. Updates
We may revise this Cookie Policy when we add features, change vendors, or respond to regulatory guidance. Check the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the website homepage notice area for at least thirty days where practicable.
